Policy Goals and Priority Areas

To aid in accomplishing the ADSA Mission and demonstrate the organization's commitment to being the "Voice of Science" for the dairy industry, the ADSA Board has adopted the following Policy Goals and Priority Areas.

ADSA Policy Goal Statement

The American Dairy Science Association will:

Communicate the value of and need for innovative research in dairy production and dairy foods to the public and governmental and private research funders
Provide trained spokespersons to collaborate with industry partners in addressing public concerns relative to dairy production and dairy foods issues
Actively participate in the identification of research and education goals in dairy production and dairy foods
