ADSA Annual Meeting Science Director
Position Overview
The ADSA Annual Meeting Science Director is responsible for ensuring outstanding scientific programming at the annual meeting that meets the needs of all groups within the ADSA dairy science community. This position is open to current members of ADSA in good standing and eligible to receive an honorarium.
Role Summary
The ADSA Annual Meeting Science Director will manage the scientific program through collaboration with speakers, volunteers, and staff and will work with the co-chairs from the Production and Dairy Foods Divisions (the immediate past chairs of each division) to plan and conduct Overall Program Committee (OPC) meetings as needed to coordinate a successful, comprehensive scientific program at ADSA’s annual meeting.
This position reports directly to the ADSA Board of Directors and is expected to report activities at ADSA monthly board meetings.
