Champaign, IL (June 3, 2020)—The American Dairy Science Association® (ADSA®) is pleased to announce Adriano Cruz as a 2020 recipient of the Journal of Dairy Science (JDS®) Highly Cited Award. Cruz will be recognized during the virtual ADSA Annual Meeting.

The number of citations a published study receives provides an excellent indication of its importance to its research community. The JDS Highly Cited Award program has been established by ADSA to formally recognize contributors to JDS whose work significantly affects research and the dairy industry.

The JDS Highly Cited Award was awarded to Adriano Cruz and coauthors for their paper titled “Rapid consumer-based sensory characterization of requeijão cremoso, a spreadable processed cheese: Performance of new statistical approaches to evaluate check-all-that-apply data,” which was published in the August 2017 issue of JDS.

It is with great pleasure that ADSA presents Adriano Cruz with the 2020 JDS Highly Cited Award.
