Faith Hagelberger receives the Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award

Champaign, IL (June 1, 2023)—The American Dairy Science Association® (ADSA®) is pleased to announce Faith Hagelberger as the 2023 recipient of the Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award. The award will be presented on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, during the awards ceremony at the ADSA Annual Meeting in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award was created to recognize distinguished undergraduates who have demonstrated leadership ability, academic achievement, involvement in the industry, and participation in the ADSA Student Affiliate Division (SAD) and local club activities.

Faith Hagelberger of Minster, Ohio, completed her undergraduate degree in animal sciences at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she focused much of her studies on dairy science. Hagelberger is involved in a variety of leadership positions and organizations, including the Buckeye Dairy Club, Animal Science Community Alliance, peer mentoring, and being a teaching assistant. She also competed within the collegiate Dairy Challenge programs on state, regional, and national levels. Hagelberger will attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, focusing on dairy production medicine, in the fall.

It is with great pleasure that ADSA and the ADSA Foundation present Faith Hagelberger with the 2023 Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award.
