Recognizing the current federal funding and employment uncertainty affecting many dairy science professionals and ADSA members, along with the influx of late-breaking H5N1 research findings relevant to the dairy industry, we are extending the #ADSA2025 abstract submission deadline to March 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CST.
ADSA is committed to supporting our global scientific community during this challenging time, and your work matters now more than ever. This is a crucial opportunity to collaborate, explore solutions for adapting to current challenges, and work together in advancing dairy science to nourish the world.
What can you expect at #ADSA2025?
We’re curating a program with something for everyone, from students to seasoned researchers, industry professionals to extension experts and producers. This year’s meeting will include the following:
- Oral presentations including
- Symposia
- Workshops
- Hot topic panel discussions
- Poster sessions
- New! 3-minute poster spotlight presentations that include a short oral presentation combined with a traditional poster.
What scientific topics will be covered?
Programming will cover the full spectrum of dairy science from production through foods, dairy extension to classroom teaching, with a special emphasis on inter-disciplinary areas for learning. See the detailed section list here.
New in 2025, we’re introducing a special “Diversity in Dairy” section in our programming meant to promote, advance, and ensure the representation of diverse voices in the dairy sector.
Submissions can include original research, teaching, and extension abstracts—as well as literature mini-reviews—that center diverse contributions to dairy, whether it be
- contributions from scientists past or present,
- inclusive and equitable teaching for a diverse classroom, or
- extension that addresses issues of social justice and empowers agricultural communities of color.
