  1. Visit Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum
    Immerse yourself in the “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” with interactive exhibits and a 30-minute historical walking tour of Churchill Downs racetrack, just 15 minutes from downtown.
  2. Sample the food scene
    The meals in Louisville take you deep into the heart of the Bourbon Country lifestyle—but bourbon isn’t the only star! Louisville is known as the epicenter of “new Southern cuisine.” Be sure to learn the local food language of treats like Benedictine, burgoo, Modjeskas, and the Hot Brown. (Don’t be afraid to ask!)

    Visit the Frazier History Museum (the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail), the Urban Bourbon Trail, and countless other bourbon experiences and tours to sample Kentucky’s finest. Recognizing the current federal funding and employment uncertainty affecting many dairy science professionals and ADSA members, along with the influx of late-breaking H5N1 research findings relevant to the dairy industry, we are extending the #ADSA2025 abstract submission deadline to March 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CST.
